20/20 Productions, the award-winning, event, video and digital production agency with offices in Edinburgh, San Francisco and Dubai, was delighted to partner with the UK Department of International Trade and the British Consulate-General San Francisco in producing and part-sponsoring the Red Arrows North American Tour San Francisco event at Oakland Airport. This incredible tour is part of the GREAT Britain Campaign – highlighting opportunities across business, education and tourism.

The event was part of an 11-week deployment, the biggest-ever visit by the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team to Canada and the United States and the first to the two countries in more than a decade. An indication of the UK’s continuing commitment to enduring relationships, mutual prosperity and extensive security cooperation.

The remarkable reception was attended by 250 guests and followed a dynamic fly past by the famous Red Arrows Aerobatic Team over the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. The uniquely British-themed event was a great success, featuring two of the Red Arrows Hawk aircraft.

Andy MacKay, 20/20 Productions USA CEO said: “We were thrilled to partner with the UK Department of International Trade and the British Consulate-General San Francisco for such a high-profile event. The showcase of excellence and precision displayed by the Red Arrows parallels with our business values and successful project delivery for our clients at home and oversees. It was an inspiring event to be involved with.”

The 20/20 team specialises in creative communications delivered by a team of experts, who consistently create the best ways to deliver, be that by live events, film, digital channels or print. For this exceptional event services included production management along with presentation design for the sponsors, lighting, sound and video relay technology, still photography and filming of the event at the USS Hornet and during the main Reception at Oakland Airport.

HM Consul General to San Francisco Andrew Whittaker said: “The team at 20/20 Productions are just brilliant. We at the Consulate use them for all of our major events including this once-in-a-lifetime reception with the world-renowned Red Arrows. The team at 20/20 not only delivered, they went above and beyond with staging, lighting and even creating a montage of photos from the teams’ tour across North America to show at the event.”
