Aiming for Gold at IoIC Scotland Awards!
Aiming for Gold at ioic scotland awards!
We are thrilled to announce we have been shortlisted in three categories for IoIC Scotland Awards 2019! The awards recognise the drive and passion of the communications industry, by rewarding the very best communicators and celebrating the achievements of the professionals working in the sector across Scotland.
Firstly, after our win for Best Corporate Event at the EAwards earlier this year #thatswhatwecallstandardlife Event is up for Best Communications Event. The transfer of Standard Life’s Pension business to the Phoenix Group was completed on the 1st September 2018 with over 3,000 employees moving to Phoenix and around 1,500 remaining, our client wanted to ensure Standard Life's and its employees' personal history and heritage was not forgotten. Our solution was to build a museum style, interactive walking tour through various eras of the company history. Using a combination of high tech, lighting, sound, archival and newly shot video, we designed a maze-like structure with seven distinct zones each that would represent a different era from Standard Life’s timeline, and for those unable to attend we created an online digital experience as well!
Our second nomination is for Best Audio/Visual Employee/Stakeholder Communication for the 13th GPCA Annual Forum Curtain Raiser, which was to be a curtain raiser like no other – ‘A Look to the Future’! This special broadcast explored what the future would look like in the year 2070 and how the petrochemicals industry might transform itself to shape that future.
Thirdly our very own Tom Aikman has been nominated for Young Communicator of the Year for all his success so far in our Video Production team!
The IoIC Scotland Awards Presentation Dinner will take place on Friday 6th September at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel to celebrate the fantastic work being carried out in our region. Please keep your fingers crossed for us!
Good luck to all the finalists!
