INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT
Working under the direct supervision of the Office Manager and alongside our Event Managers and Producers, you will be focussed mainly in the management and organisation of travel, accommodation and logistics for global events. These events can range from 10 – 100 attendees and are currently held in Europe and Africa.
As an Event Administrator you will primarily be based in Edinburgh however you may have the opportunity to travel, and support events on location, therefore you must have a valid passport.
We need someone who is dynamic, fun, and loves organising. Someone who will go the extra mile for the Company, and for our Customers and is okay when things change – and change again (and again). You need to be easy going and work well in a team. You also will need to get stuck in and work on your own too.
MS Excel/Word/Email on a Mac (we don’t use PC’s at all) are the main tools you’ll require. However we will provide training on our own and other applications too - online booking apps, customer portals etc.
This contract would be initially for 3 months – but we are hoping to extend this into a full-time position. It’s essential you have previous administration experience either within Events or Global Travel. You will primarily work 9am-5.30pm however you’ll need to be flexible, working overtime when required at short notice.
