Each time we welcome a new client on board, we like to spend as much time as we can, getting to know them, understanding their culture and working practices so we can help them deliver their message, and working with AG Barr was no different.
Their annual conference held at the EICC, a venue we know well, centred around the strapline ‘Staying Ahead’ and focused on ambition, delivery and momentum, and celebrated the important role that each delegate plays in the success of the business. Our creative approach for design and presentation support led us to bring their strapline to life with colour and vibrancy, ensuring a consistent look to the day’s proceedings, a backdrop for the stage and visible event branding throughout the building, and also a fun and unbranded approach for the look and feel of the evening dinner and party.
The quirky nature of their core brand ‘Irn-Bru’ was evident throughout the day; with speaker ‘costume’ changes from sporting to disco, and also a live cocktail making competition. All of which we captured on camera as we filmed highlights of the day.
The evening continued in style, with a drinks reception and sophisticated dinner but the fun didn’t stop there - guests were treated to an action-packed ‘party’ with casino tables, and a sports bar featuring table tennis, foosball tables, SEGA rally, pool and air hockey.
The highlight of the evening was a surprise interview with Sir Chris Hoy, which wowed the audience, with a high demand for selfies with the Olympic superstar afterwards!
