What is Homelessness?
Our brief was to deliver a video to highlight people’s unrealistic perceptions of homelessness in Scotland and turn those perceptions on their head, by delivering uncomfortable facts and encourage the realisation that homelessness could affect anyone.
We worked with the existing Cyrenians brand, drawing inspiration from the loose brushstrokes of the logo typeface we developed an illustration style which highlighted the crucial points of the message and charity. We catered for as many demographics as possible within the artwork bringing the ‘people’ aspect of the charity to the forefront of this video. Humanising the data allowed the viewer to empathise with the message as well as respond emotionally to the facts and figures that might otherwise be hard to digest.
The video will be used as part of a bigger campaign in creating awareness, and will be shown on large screens at iconic locations around Scotland!
