All Staff Event 2017 – DelegateManager
In March this year Standard Life (now Standard Life Aberdeen) produced an 'all staff' event, inviting over 6,000 staff members spread across 18 countries. The events took place over three days in Edinburgh and London, webcasting to international teams.
The registration period was brief, with initial invites being issued 14 days prior the first event. Our team worked with Standard Life’s communications team to produce a succinct process that would efficiently register high volumes of delegates.
Before the system went live, our development team made sure it would handle the high volume of users and associated bandwidth. Through this process, our team managed to boost performance by 21x - that’s a performance increase of 2,100%!
Over the three days of registration, we recorded the following information:
Total delegates registered over three days: 4,023
Total delegates attended: 3,693 (91.8% overall attendance rate)
